Room to Grow
UCHS has grown from a small school of 8 freshmen to a robust high school of over 135+ students. Between our North Campus and South Campus, we have adequate classroom and gathering space, giving us the potential to enroll 200 students.
The original North Campus building plan included a much-desired gymnasium and performing arts center, with an estimated cost of $3.75 million. The revised facility, which opened in August, 2017, cost $2,600,000 to complete. Construction was financed through the “More Than Bricks” Capital Campaign held in 2015 and a short-term construction loan.
UCHS HAS NO INTENTION OF STANDING STILL. Our vision includes:
- Providing students with the facilities and instruction to develop talents in art, drama, and music.
- A performing arts center which also accommodates athletic events and student socials.
- Locker rooms, a weight room, and additional teaching spaces.
