LRU DINING
Some UCHS students prefer to bring their lunch, while others prefer to purchase on campus. You have the option to do either or both! Visit the LRU Campus Dish website to learn more about purchasing a Meal Plan or Declining Balance for LRU meals.

READING SPECIALIST SUPPORT
Reading Specialist, Dare Gilbert, offers tutoring services to UCHS students. Strategies are taught to improve reading skills and retention of textbook material. SAT preparation is also available. Contact Mrs. Gilbert at 828.632.3465 to discuss support for your child

ACT & SAT PREP
Brainworks of Hickory offers both SAT & ACT prep classes that review areas of academic content and teach strategies, best practices, and time and stress management skills. www.brainworkslearningcenter.com

DRIVERS EDUCATION
Driver education classes are offered through Catawba County Schools, and Hickory Public Schools, as well as, private instruction through Hester Driving Academy which offers classes scheduled specifically around private school schedules. FK Chestnut Driving Academy has also been recommended by UCHS parents.
Driver's Eligibility Certificates are available through the school office. You may request a certificate by emailing Mrs. Bedder. Please give 24 hours notice.
