Tuition & Financial Aid

University Christian High School offers a highly academic opportunity for students at a competitive price.  Tuition for the 2024-25 school year is $10,500.00 (which includes the cost of LRU and other college classes).  UCHS is on a 12-month payment schedule that begins June 1 and ends May 31.  Multi-child discounts are available.  Tuition management is handled through TADS, providing families with 24/7 access to their accounts.

There is a $500 Registration Fee that is due upon acceptance for new students and at the time of re-enrollment for returning students.  There is a $55.00 fee for enrollment in the TADS tuition system.  There are no additional fees.

University Christian High School has a need-based financial aid program that supports qualifying families who meet the tuition requirements.  The average tuition for a financial aid recipient is $7,400.00  To qualify students for financial aid, we now utilize the online services of TADS to process applications.  Families can apply using this LINK.  It is required that recipients reapply for financial aid annually.  In most cases, a student's tuition payment will not change significantly from year to year.

Special Note:  TADS does not decide whether financial assistance will be granted; rather, it provides a need-based financial aid analysis service that includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition.  All information from TADS is kept confidential.  Results are reviewed by the UCHS Scholarship Committee.  Decisions are then based on the availability of funds.

• UCHS is an approved recipient of NC Opportunity and Disability Grants.  
• The Opportunity Scholarship is an income-based program that helps families pay tuition and fees. Awards up to $7,213 for the 2024-2025 school year
• The application for the 2024-2025 school year will open on February 1, 2024.

Changes for the 2024-2025 school year include:

• Removal of the income cap for families to receive the scholarship; now all North Carolina students in kindergarten through 12th grade will be eligible for the Scholarship regardless of income.
• Prior public school enrollment is no longer a requirement for eligibility for the scholarship.
• A student’s scholarship amount will be based on household income.
• Scholarship amounts will range from approximately $3,000 to approximately $7,000.

CARSON SCHOLARSHIP 
The Carson Scholars Fund awards $1,000 college scholarships to students in grades 4-11 who excel academically and are dedicated to serving their communities. Scholarship winners receive the honor of being named “Carson Scholars” and are awarded an Olympic-sized medal and a trophy for their school to celebrate their accomplishments. https://carsonscholars.org/scholarships/
