In addition to our own UCHS Scholarship Funds, we are an approved recipient of NC Opportunity Scholarship!  These funds help pay for tuition and other required fees to attend registered private schools.  All families are eligible, regardless of household income. Use this page to learn more and reach out to our admissions team if we can help in any way.

NC Opportunity Scholarship

  • Yes!  UCHS is an approved registered recipient of the NC Opportunity Scholarship.
  • Applications open each year in early February and are accepted through early March. Please refer to the "Overview of NC Opportunity Scholarship" tab below to see current deadlines.
  • These funds are used to help pay for tuition and other required fees for attending UCHS.
  • There is no income cap. All North Carolina students in kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible for the Scholarship, regardless of income. 
  • Awards range from $3,500 -$7,500 based on a family's household income.
